The history packed into this two block park is amazing. A monument by the creator of Mt Rushmore up through a war memorial are there for the viewing. This is a historical city, and this showcases some of the history.

Good little place for some walking around, and they have some nice little events every once in awhile..
Started at the park and walked to both ends of the bike trail with my wife. Its an easy walk, mostly flat and along the river. Just a couple sketchy spots on this 8.5+ mile walk. Only bathroom along the way is past the stables by the ball field.
The river view is so relaxing while swinging on the river bank.
