Great sushi and hibachi have tried many different things here and am always pleased. Can sometimes have big gap between when they get certain things finished i.e. sushi comes way before hibachi. Staff is super friendly and the price is pretty good. Can walk away still a bit hungry if i order just one thing and think they could increase portion sizes but i just order a bit more and am always stuffed when i do. Spend ab 10 or 12 dollars at lunch including tip and ab 15 to 18 for supper, drinking water. Overall great place for lunch or supper and would recomend to anyone
Decently priced. Food didn't impress me much. Hibachi meal was incredibly salty. Service was speedy, but lacked soul. I don't think I'll be returning.
They seemed like they were trying, and it was a surprising culinary find for the city; however, they were not able to provide substantial sustenance for customers with gluten intolerance, nor for vegan customers; even vegetarian options were surprising limited. If you have no dietary restrictions — and especially if you don't have other access to this sort of cuisine — I suspect you'll enjoy it, and suggest you give it a shot. Support cool and diverse cuisine! Variety makes the world a more interesting place!
Went on 7/4/17 around 2:30PM.
Great food at a great price! Friends kept telling us we needed to go to Shogun. We finally took their advice and really liked it. It's a small restaurant, so if it's busy you may have to wait, but the service is really fast and folks are usually in and out pretty quickly.
I'm from out of town and this place was recommended by some locals. The food was top notch. I'll definitely be back!
I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the shrimp/scallop hibachi with noodle. The roll was legit just meat and crunchy bits. Most spicy tuna rolls have at least a few veggies in it. I was sort of taken aback, though I still ate it. The hibachi meal has some awkward crunchy bits and was way too salty to eat entirely. It was swimming in oil and soy sauce.
They were quick when it came to their service, but nobody really seemed alive or interested in being there. If (and this is a rather big if) I decide to order from them, it would most likely be a to go order. It just felt sorta dead.
