After 14 days of using Verison I must say the coverage and call dropping have stopped.
Very helpful staff. I was in and out of there with a new phone in 20 minutes.
Moved to Verison from AT&T. I went into the Marietta store to investigate Verison. I ask about the fingers credit for a friend that recommended Verison. I was told if I sign up they would get a $50 reward. I was offered that if I sign up Verison would pay off my unused portion of my final bill. Which amounted to about $33. So I signed up and had my phones switched to Verison. I was told to bring my final at&t bill in along with my first Verison bill and adjustments would be made. I did abou 10 days later and was told that they could not give a referral reward to my friend and they would not pay the unused portion of my at&t bill. In all honesty however I was given a $30 credit against the $60 charge to activate the two lines.
Service People here are friendly and didn't mind me messing around with a phone for what must have seemed like forever. Nobody was overly pushy. They are basically the only game in town for the best cell phone coverage.
The moral of this story is get what they promise in writing BEFORE you sign up.
Probably the best Verizon I've ever visited!
Also if your switching from at&t do it toward the end of your billing cycle because at&t will not credit you for the unused portion of the service they did not provide and Verison will not. (unless you buy new phones)
Summary, not much better than what you would expect from a used car salesman. Sad!
